統一獅洋投賈斯汀因左肩不適，本周跳過1次先發，由王鏡銘代班，總教練陳連宏說9日會讓賈斯汀投牛棚，若狀況OK，會讓他在周五開始對義大犀牛的3連戰先發。
賈斯汀是本季獅隊最穩定的先發投手，目前戰績雖是2勝4敗，但防禦率僅2.85，顯示他有不錯的壓制力，不過他本周因左肩不適，因此跳過1次先發。
另外，郭泓志今天（7日）在二軍對中信兄弟之戰，上場中繼1局，投27球、16好球，被擊出2支安打沒失分，獅隊評估郭泓志狀況之後，最快本周就會讓他上一軍，增加牛棚戰力。
