疫情資料顯示，韓國MERS疫情仍未停歇，宜蘭縣衛生局於昨（廿二）日下午一時在國立陽明大學附設醫院辦理「MERS-CoV傳染病緊急應變實兵演練」，演練內容包含三種情境，消防局運送診所疑似MERS病患至該院急診室、掛號處發現疑似MERS可能病例、門診發現疑似MERS可能病例處置。衛生局表示：倘國內發生MERS確診病例時，宜蘭縣將立即啟動流行疫情指揮中心。
此次演練假想一位男性於飯店結帳英文十五日從韓國旅遊回國，旅遊期間曾因腸胃不適至韓國醫院就診，昨（廿二）日出現發燒、咳嗽、腹瀉症狀至診所或陽大就診，演練最後在門診發現疑似MERS病例啟動「門診一○○」流程及負壓隔離病房收治病患流程，演練過程逼真。
衛生局再次提醒若必要前往南韓及中東地區民眾，務必記得三不：一、不接觸駱駝，二、不生飲動物奶，三、非必要不去醫院。回國亦記得三要：一、勤洗手、二、有呼吸道或發燒症狀戴口罩，三、有不適症狀要撥打一九二二。
